Slavia bude potrestána výjimečně vysokou finanční částkou za zápas s AS Řím.

Slavia Prague, one of the top football clubs in the Czech Republic, has been penalized by UEFA for various violations during their recent European match. The club has been fined a total of 91,625 euros for the misconduct of their fans and organizational shortcomings.

One of the main issues highlighted by UEFA was the behavior of Slavia Prague’s supporters on the North Stand of the stadium. The fans were found guilty of using pyrotechnics and throwing objects onto the pitch, which resulted in fines of 30,000 euros and 10,125 euros respectively. Additionally, the fans were also found guilty of using provocative and offensive chants, resulting in a fine of 17,500 euros.

The consequences for Slavia Prague do not end there. The club has also been fined 34,000 euros for blocking stairways and exits in the stadium. This violation poses a serious safety risk and is considered a major breach of UEFA regulations.

As a result of these violations, the North Stand of the stadium, which is known for its passionate and vocal fans, will be closed for one European match. Sectors 106 to 110 will remain closed until further notice, and if similar violations occur within the next two years, the closure may be extended.

In addition to the financial penalties, Slavia Prague’s assistant coach, Zdenek Houska, has been suspended for one match due to unsportsmanlike behavior during the game.

These penalties serve as a reminder that fan behavior is closely monitored by UEFA, and any violations can result in severe consequences for both the club and individuals involved. Slavia Prague will need to take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that such misconduct does not occur in the future.

It is important for football clubs to promote a safe and respectful environment for all fans, players, and officials. The actions of a few individuals should not tarnish the reputation of the entire club, and it is the responsibility of the club management to enforce strict rules and regulations to prevent such incidents from happening again.
