Durosinmi’s transfer has been speculated for quite some time. Last week, the spokesperson of the West Bohemian club, Václav Hanzlík, stated that Viktoria had not received any specific and adequate offer for their top scorer. According to Bild, representatives of both clubs have now reached an agreement.
The Lagos-born player underwent surgery for damaged ligaments in his knee in October and will not be able to play until the end of the year. Before his injury, he scored six goals in this league season and added three more in the qualifying rounds of the European Conference League.
Durosinmi came to Plzeň in January from Karviná on a loan, which was later turned into a permanent transfer. In the Czech top league, the 192-centimeter-tall striker has played 45 matches, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists.
